Les grottes souterraines servent de cadre principal où le personnage du joueur creuse des tunnels dans la terre pour collecter des pierres précieuses. Creuser des chemins spécifiques permet aux joueurs de manipuler les chutes de pierres, transformant les dangers environnementaux en armes pour écraser les ennemis. Des explosifs rouges peuvent également être utilisés pour dégager des chemins ou combattre les différentes menaces qui peuplent les niveaux du labyrinthe.
